Abstract
With the establishment of Safavid rule, religious-religious rivalries and territorial disputes, which were the result of the expansionism of the Ottomans, caused wars and conflicts. Meanwhile, the role of the Kurds living in the geography of these competitions is important, and what position the Kurds took in the conflicts between the Safavid and Ottoman governments, and the reasons for their cooperation or position in the face of these two powers is an important issue. This article seeks to examine it by using new sources and researches, therefore, considering the importance of this issue, the present research, by benefiting from the descriptive-analytical method and using library resources and analyzing the content of selected textbooks, seeks to To answer this question, to what extent the political position of the Kurds in the Chaldaran war is reflected in the ninth grade social studies textbook - the history section - which is taught in the schools of Iran and the Kurdistan region of Iraq. found?
