Deeper Teaching of History through the Study of Social Contexts: Recognizing the Role of the Foundations of Moral Education at Historical junctures in China

Abstract
Background and Objectives: History education owes its existence to a precise identification of historical junctures and the role of social and cultural conditions. Given the role of Chinese society in balancing global equations and its cultural position in the geographical region of East Asia, this article focuses on Chinese moral education and aims to qualitatively research the components of moral education in this society. Methods: This research has benefited from a qualitative method, specifically a library study method. Findings: Chinese society is the heir to special cultural and moral reserves that stem from its ancient teachings, namely the teachings of Confucius. Emphasis on the criteria of merit, effort, sanctification of the family, and respect for the government hierarchy are characteristics that have prepared this society for various government measures and reforms and have overcome very serious crises. Conclusion: In history education, it is very necessary to research and understand the social conditions of societies at historical junctures. How human societies have taken different paths has historical implications that illustrate today's conditions, including their stability, dynamism, and collapse. This society today cultivates a system of opposites and artistically uses all historical experiences and events and includes them in educational reforms.
